Jhon Jairo Vente Rentería is a talented music producer and professional musician born in Timbiquí, Cauca, Colombia. He is the co-producer with Maria Elena Bermudez Andrade of the new album “Faltó Abrazarnos-Deluxe Edition” by Agrupacion Socavon, which critics agree is the best Folklorico album of the year made in South America. The 24-piece collection from the Pacific west coast of Colombia was recorded in Cali and featured collaborations from Latin Grammy and Billboard nominated salsa star Willy Garcia, La Fuga orchestra, Willys del Arka, Betty Kaar, the Herencia de Timbiqui group and the new goddess of Afro-Colombian Folklore Linda Caldas.
Vente Renteria is a great professional in the traditional music of the Colombian Pacific, instructor and performer of the instruments of the southern Pacific of Colombja such as the marimba de chonta, the bombo, the cununo and the guasa. As well as other Western instruments such as the guitar, bass and piano.
