Guayacan, the great world Salsa orchestra has presented the ‘leg’ of its world tour through Europe. There are 12 dates that start this Friday, May 10 in the historic city of Brussels, capital of Belgium and administrative center of the European Union.

In Spain, teachers Nino Caicedo and Alexis Lozano and their orchestra will visit Madrid (May 12), Barcelona (May 17), Alicante (May 18), Valencia (May 19), Bilbao (May 31) and Pamplona (June 7).

Guayacán has confirmed shows in Germany (Frankfurt, May 11), England (London, May 24), the Netherlands (Amsterdam, June 1) and two dates in Italy (Genova, June 8) and at the Milano Latin Festival (Milan, June 9).

In Milan Guayacan Orquesta will share the stage with Farruko, Juan Luis Guerra, Arcangel, Christian Nodal, La India, Olga Tañon, Maria Becerra, Jerry Rivera and La India.

The Guayacán world tour in 2024 serves as a commemoration of the 35-year career. This month the orchestra will release its long-awaited symphonic album that will compete this year at the Latin Grammys, an award for which it was already nominated with its extraordinary album “25 Años, 25 Éxitos, 25 Artistas” in 2014.

Guayacan’s most recent album
It is “Sin Par”, an album that evokes the salsa that during these 35 years has differentiated them from other orchestras. The album is a solid example of current salsa that fuses and supports classic salsa, pop and urban Latin elements in its structure.
The album produced hits such as “Bogota Salsera”, “quiereme o dejame”, the superhit “Citas Clandestinas” and “Besos de Amor”.
