Author

By Carlos Passage

The trio made up of singer Future (40, Georgia Atlanta), influential producer Metro Boomin (30, St. Louis) and Pulitzer Prize-winning Rap superstar Kendrick Lamar (36, Compton, California) will debut today straight to #1 on the Hot 100 with “Like That.”

The song is from the album “We Dont Trust You” by Future and Metro Boomin. A total of five songs from the album, including the number one hit, will be in the Top 10 of the Hot 100 when the chart is updated this morning.

Rarely in the 66 years of the Hot 100 has half or more of the chart’s top ten been dominated by songs by the same artist.

The first to do it were The Beatles in a week like this 60 years ago in 1964.
