AEG Presents, the second largest live events company in the world (after Live Nation) and the powerful Latin entertainment company Cárdenas Marketing Network (CMN), have partnered in an agreement that will unite both companies under one roof.
The partnership, in which AEG acquired a stake in CMN and which AEG Chairman and CEO Jay Marciano describes as a “total partnership,” will dramatically boost the Latin music business in the U.S. and the rest of the world.

AEG is the company behind Taylor Swift’s global tour and events like Coachella.
CMN is the promoter of Luis Miguel, Bad Bunny, Karol G, Marc Anthony and Aventura.
In an exclusive interview with Billboard, Henry Cárdenas said: “We wanted to be bigger and more global. AEG is a giant company that also has ‘venues’. I’ve known Jay Marciano for 40 years, since he was president of Radio City Music Hall and Madison Square Garden. “Jay knows who I am and I know who he is.”

The AEG-CMN merger follows Live Nation’s 2021 acquisition of Mexican concert promoter OCESA Entertenimiento for $416 million and a 51% stake in the company.
