Mexican singer-songwriter Carin León was received like a superstar by a crowd of 4,300 when she made her debut at the Grand Ole Opry last Friday (February 23).
Shouts of adulation and a sea of cell phone lights greeted him as he took the stage.
Carin performed her 2022 hit “No es por acá,” followed by a solo version of her new hit “The One (Pero No Como Yo),” a duet with Country star Kane Brown that they both premiered at the Premio Lo Nuestro last week.
Carin closed with “Primera Cita,” his song that mixes Mexican sounds with the soul of Memphis and New Orleans.
