Taylor Swift makes history by becoming the first artist to lead the IFPI Global Artist Chart four times: 2014, 2019, 2022 and now, 2023.

This is an honor that recognizes the best artist in physical sales, downloads and streaming worldwide.
On the other hand, the dominance of K-pop is visible, since four artists of the genre are in the top 10:
SEVENTEEN (No. 2), Stray Kids (No. 3), TOMORROW X TOGETHER (No. 7) and NewJeans (No. 8).
Two more K-pop artists, IVE and NCT Dream, achieved the Top 20 (12th and 15th positions, respectively).
How many Latinos? One: Bad Bunny, #9
