Madonna’s highly anticipated Celebration Tour is on hiatus after the Queen of Pop spent several days in hospital following a “severe bacterial infection”.
Madonna spent several days in an ICU after developing an infection on Saturday June 24.
A source close to the situation says that Madonna is already out of hospital and is currently recovering.
Unfortunately for fans, hospitalization is forcing Madonna to put her tour on hold.
The Celebration Tour was scheduled to launch in Vancouver, B.C. on July 15 at Rogers Arena.
In her career, Madonna has raised 1,376 million dollars and has sold 11.7 million tickets in 575 shows.
She is the most successful female artist in concert history.
