“One Thing at a Time”, the album by country star Morgan Wallen will debut this Tuesday at number 1 on the Billboard 200 album chart with 501,000 units sold.
It’s the biggest week of 2023 for any album in America.
The album’s 36 songs collectively generated 498 million streams in its first week, marking the fifth-biggest streaming week for a record and the biggest ever for a country album.
Morgan Wallen’s last album, “Dangerous: The Double Album”, released in 2021, spent 10 weeks atop the Billboard 200 chart and has spent 110 weeks in the top 10.
The album now owns the second most weeks in the top ten in the chart’s 67-year history, second only to the “My Fair Lady” soundtrack which holds the record with 173 weeks.
The fifth biggest streaming week ever for an album.
