The Latin Grammys will take place in Seville, Spain this 2023.
At a press conference between the Andalucía board and the Latin Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, Andalucía board president Juanma Moreno said the two entities had a “three-year sponsorship agreement.” which included the celebration of the Latin Grammys and “two great concerts organized by the Academy in 2023 and another great concert in the years 2024 and 2025”.
The location of all the events, Moreno said, would be announced “soon, once the Academy finalizes all the details.”
“We are considering Seville hosting the 24th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards this November, but we are still working on logistics with our partners Televisa/Univision. We will soon share additional details about the date and location of the next Latin GRAMMYs,” said Manuel Abud of the Latin Academy in a press release.
Since its creation in the year 2000, the Latin Grammys have always been held in the United States, mostly in Las Vegas, although the ceremony has also been held in New York and Miami.
The president of the Andalusian government, Juanma Moreno, estimated that the economic impact of having the Grammys and the events in Seville would be “of the order of 500 million euros.”
