Madonna has announced a massive tour on the 40th anniversary of her career. The tour will kick off in the middle of this year with concert partner and producer Live Nation.
The 64-year-old Madonna will perform music from across her catalogue, from her self-titled debut album from 1983 to her most recent studio album, 2019’s Madame X.
The world tour will be the first retrospective of Madonna’s career, a compilation of her greatest hits from four decades, and will reportedly include several nights at London’s O2.
Madonna last toured in 2019, the Madame X Tour.
The theatrical tour, which grossed $36 million and sold 125,000 tickets, struggled with production delays and recurring hip and knee injuries to his.
Her Sticky and Sweet Tour 2008-2009 is the highest-grossing tour by a female artist with a gross of $407 million.
